Our Story

Born from a love of fire and patience.

Backyard BBQ started as a weekend tradition in our own backyard. What began as friends and family gathering around a smoker has grown into Harlingen's favorite spot for authentic, slow-smoked barbecue.

We believe that good barbecue can't be rushed. That's why we fire up our smokers every morning before dawn, using only quality post oak and mesquite to infuse every bite with that unmistakable smoky flavor.
